General

Minimum Wage
  • Varies based on industry and region
Working Hours
  • Maximum of 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week
  • Minimum meal interval of 30 minutes and a maximum of 2 hours
  • Typical working hours are 08h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday
Overtime
  • Maximum of 3 hours per day and 9 hours per week
Notice Period
  • As a general rule, there is no statutory notice period
  • 30 days prior notice is required to dismiss certain categories of workers, excluded who are “just cause” dismissal rule
