THE COMPANY
TecEx provides importer of record and compliance services for companies dealing with IT equipment, enabling affordable cross-border DDP and DDU bespoke solutions for businesses while mitigating their legal and financial risks.
THE PROBLEM
TecEx faced a significant challenge when hiring international talent. They wanted access to a global talent pool — but hiring remotely in territories where TecEx was not previously established was not an option given legislative roadblocks, high costs and time-consuming efforts required to incorporate new entities.
Recruiting in other countries is expensive and time-consuming. Companies have to establish a registered local presence in the country they’re hiring. THE RESULTS
Playroll supplied the requisite hiring entities in their employee’s countries, removing a significant hiring obstacle. This alone saved TecEx months of work and tens of thousands of dollars. They would no longer have to establish branches or subsidiaries in every country and then develop the necessary expertise to manage the unique labor laws and compliance obligations for each.
Playroll was there to offer TecEx guidance every step of the way. They answered country-specific questions, equipping TecEx with all the necessary information and insights. When it came time to onboard new team members, Playroll’s fully compliant contracts made it easy for both TecEx and their new colleagues to feel confident and informed. With Playroll’s help, TecEx has onboarded teammates in India and Israel – and ultimately doubled their international workforce.
